Overview: Threads of Justice envisioned by Asian American Advocacy Fund merges their social justice work with the world of art. Using denim jackets as canvases, 12 local Asian American artists were prompted to share their stories and experiences of living in the South while touching on the themes of civil rights, environmentalism, labor rights, representation, and belonging. Each artist offers a unique and expressive interpretation of what it means to see an equitable and inclusive future.
Challenge: Ideation, planning, execution, and final delivery. Produce and create a short documentary that showcases the history, mission, and artists of Threads of Justice. Collaborative concept with AAAF Team and our team. Line produce a crew, create call sheet and schedules, coordinate logistics with client, artists, and production crew. Utilize one location and create several looks and vignettes. Post Production involved many components ranging from the finalization of the story narrative, final mixing of audio, sound design, and custom graphics to visually represent and emphasize key moments. Expedited turnaround for final delivery to premiere at the the launch party for Threads Of Justice.
